The new Parish, henceforth to be called St. Ignatius Loyola Parish Kailashahar, located at Bhagavan Nagar P. O., within the boundaries mentioned below, which shall be bifurcated from the Parish of Kumarghat, shall come into effect from 21st March 2021. The patronal feast of St. Ignatius Loyola is to be celebrated annually on 31st July.

The existing Catholic mondolis under Kumarghat Parish, namely, Jamtolibari, Katalbari, Dartuichhera, Tatchaibagan, and Khasiabasti will be under the new Parish of Kailashahar.
